The design began as self-initiated experimental work in 2009, which was initially loose in style and was later developed further in 2012 as tighter line art.
SFMOMA felt the design would be an ideal fit for store products, as it reflected both SFMOMA's living wall (largest in USA) and the aesthetic of the museum's architecture designed by Mario Botta.
The products were launched to coincide with the re-brand / re-opening of the gallery in 2016. It was an honour to develop the artwork for SFMOMA. Products can be purchased from the museum's online store: museumstore.sfmoma.org
